Vonetta McGinnis, LMSW
Vonetta McGinnis, is the founder of Victory Counseling Services, specializing in adult, child, and family therapy. She brings a compassionate, client-centered approach, working collaboratively with clients to define challenges and develop tailored treatment plans that empower them on their therapeutic journey toward lasting, positive change.
Jasmine Jones, LMSW, earned her Bachelor’s degree in 2013 and her Master’s degree in Social Work from Western Michigan University in 2017. With extensive experience in both individual and group counseling, Jasmine specializes in areas such as self-esteem, anxiety, communication, depression, and navigating everyday life skills and challenges. Her expertise allows her to provide tailored support to her clients, helping them overcome obstacles and achieve personal growth.
Jasmine is particularly passionate about working with adolescent teen girls and mothers facing emotional and mental challenges. She is dedicated to empowering her clients, guiding them through their struggles, and helping them reach their goals. Her compassionate and client-centered approach has significantly impacted the lives of those she works with, fostering resilience and promoting well-being.
Angela Bowman-Davis, LMSW, is a Benton Harbor native with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Andrews University. She worked as a Children’s Services Specialist for 30 years at Michigan DHHS, advocating for marginalized children and families. Inspired to further her education, Angela earned a Master’s in Social Work from Western Michigan University.
As a Certified Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Angela served as a Behavioral Health Consultant at InterCare Community Health Network and is currently a Medical Social Worker for Corewell Health Homecare. She holds certifications in Triple P Parenting, Suicide Prevention, Crucial Accountability, and Advanced Care Planning. She volunteers as a crisis responder for CAUTION and the Michigan State Police Department and is a member of the NASW.
Ashley D. Spratling, LMSW, is a Licensed Master Social Worker at Victory Counseling Services, specializing in adult, child, and family therapy since 2019. A Detroit native and two-time graduate of the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor, Ashley earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2012 and a Master of Social Work in 2013. She has a wealth of experience working with foster care youth, juvenile justice cases, victims of domestic violence and sexual abuse, and adults facing employment barriers, providing her clients with comprehensive support.
Known for her warm and empathetic demeanor, Ashley uses a person-centered, evidence-based approach to therapy, tailoring her strategies to meet each client's unique needs. She often incorporates real-life scenarios and humor to help clients navigate life's challenges. Ashley is committed to creating a safe, supportive environment where clients feel understood, empowering them to develop positive coping strategies and achieve personal growth.
Deborah Taylor is the Executive Assistant at Victory Counseling Services, bringing over 15 years of experience in administrative support and office management. Known for her exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, she ensures the smooth operation of the practice by managing scheduling, coordinating meetings, and handling various administrative tasks with efficiency and professionalism. Deborah’s warm, approachable demeanor and strong communication skills make her a valuable point of contact for both clients and staff, helping to create a welcoming environment at Victory Counseling Services.
Outside of her professional role, Deborah is actively involved in her community, enjoys fishing, and values spending quality time with her family. She is passionate about supporting the mission of Victory Counseling Services and takes pride in contributing to a team dedicated to helping clients achieve their mental health and wellness goals.
